Project 03
Trend Forecasting
Presentation
This project focused on researching and documenting key fashion trends for Spring 2025 using structured analysis and presentation methods. I investigated emerging, classic, and long-term trends across silhouettes, prints, colours, and style movements, organizing all findings into a clear, visually supported report. The goal was to develop my ability to interpret trend data and present insights that support buying, merchandising, and collection development decisions.

I researched credible fashion sources such as Vogue, WWD, and digital trend platforms, categorizing information into fads, classics, and directional trends. Using Excel and presentation tools, I sorted and formatted the research to highlight how each trend could influence future product assortments or design strategies. The challenge was condensing a large volume of visual and written data into concise, actionable insights while maintaining strong visual clarity.

This project strengthened my analytical, documentation, and presentation skills. It taught me how to translate creative research into practical, industry-relevant information for buying teams and planners. By organizing and synthesizing trend data efficiently, I gained skills that directly support roles in fashion administration, merchandising, and retail strategy.
